Images from Greece and Africa" is the title of the photography exhibition by Yannis Psilakis, under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the kind sponsorship of the Ioannis S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, which took place at the Zappeion Mansion, from 11.6.2008 to 22.6.2008. The photographs on display are a visual journey to familiar places in our country and exotic places in Africa through the romantic and uncompromising gaze of the photographer.

Greetings were delivered by Ms. Dora Bakoyannis, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Marina Lambraki-Plaka, Director of the National Gallery, and Mr. Vangelis Chronis, General Manager of the Latsis Group, representing the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.

The proceeds from the sales of the photographs and catalogues of the exhibition were donated by the family of the photographer to the Patriarchate of Alexandria for its purposes.
